Terracycle collects product packaging such as drink pouches and food wrappers through their brigade programs. These typically non-recyclable items are used to create cool products like backpacks, pencil cases, and tote bags. Participants in the brigade program can ship the items to Terracycle free of charge, and for many items you send they will pay you two cents per item (great for school fundraisers). These unique and interesting recycled products can be purchased at large retail stores like Wal-Mart, K Mart, Target and Home Depot.
