Instructions for cleaning and fixing old dolls for good causes

SAVE THE DOLLS

At Save the Dolls, a lady in California (who has been recycling dolls for over 40 years) shows how to find second hand dolls in good shape, and recycle them. There are instructions for cleaning and fixing them up, and then sewing them a new wardrobe and small quilt. Then she suggests where one can donate them to local charities and organizations.

My doll, Betty Mae has been with me since I was 8 years old, I am now 62. She looks just like the picture above only in much better condition. When my daughter who is now 32 was a very little girl she accidentally broke the plastic that surrounds the arm of my doll. I have figured out how to fix it only I do not know what kind of glue would be best for fixing her.
