Shower curtains and liners often are made from vinyl, which contains PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and recycling PVC is dangerous. Putting PVC into our landfills is the toxic choice. Find another use for it until it can’t be used any longer – then find another use for it! Here are a few practical purposes:

• Use as a tarp to cover wood piles, grills, plants during unexpected frosts
• Cover tables when kids are crafty or experiment with dirt or sand
• Line your car trunk when you transport dirty items, plants, etc.
• Cover furniture or floors when you paint
