RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES
Ronald McDonald Houses collect pop tabs because they contain pure high-quality aluminum (unlike the cans) and they are easy to store. They provide a collection container, and once it is filled, your local RMHC chapter takes it to a recycling center. The value of the aluminum is determined and the check is sent directly to RMHC. The program teaches the importance of recycling, and raises funds to help sick children and their families. Some of the RMHC Chapters raise thousands of dollars with their collected tabs.
