Did You Know?

Wire hangers may not appeal to Joan Crawford, but they have their purpose. We haven’t found a good online source for recycling hangers, but we have some ideas for keeping hangers out of the landfill:

1. Most local dry cleaners accept wire hangers for reuse.

2. Thrift shops and consignment stores welcome plastic, wood and wire hangers.

3. Check with your local theatre or drama clubs, for use in their wardrobe department.

4. Art Departments, Children’s play groups, Mom’s clubs, etc. can use hangers for art projects and crafts.
