Tap into the creative mind of a Kindergarten teacher and her kids, and you can make almost anything with your plastic lids.  Most recycling programs don’t want your lids, they are often made with different plastics than what is accepted, and they also get jammed in new technology’s machinery easily.  Look at what Ms. Pam did in Countryside Montessori School in Charlotte, N.C. with her preschool aged children.  They collected lids from home at the school all year long, and made several fun designs, artwork and robots.  What a multi-dimensional lesson they got from this crafty learning experience, while keeping plastic lids OUT of the landfill.
