A WARM CURRENT
A Warm Current is a good cause for your old wet suits, rather than letting them sit in a closet for years after you’ve retired your surf trunks. A Warm Current uses donated suits to help fisherman effected by natural disasters, Peace Corp Volunteers running a youth surf school and a surf camp operated for kids who are underprivileged and otherwise would not be able to learn to ride the waves. Their goals are honorable:
A Warm Current’s Goals:
- Increase access to outdoor recreation opportunities for underprivileged individuals
- Increase environmental awareness and stewardship within the communities we work with
- Decrease the amount of “waste” generated by the outdoor community
