SAN FRANCISCO GREASE CYCLE
When you’re done with used cooking oil or bacon fat, don’t put it down the sink as oil and fat wreaks havoc in the local plumbing lines. You can find places to drop it off at San Francisco Grease Cycle (check your local listings for similar businesses coming to your area). Many people are looking to reuse it for biofuel, a growing method of powering vehicles, and programs are starting up all over the country to collect used oil for better purposes than clogging drains.
