Some baby bottles can be recycled based upon the type of material they are made from. Glass baby bottles and plastic baby bottles with a #5 or a #7 recycling symbol can often be recycled in your regular curbside recycling bin. Local children’s charities will also accept donations of baby bottles for distribution to new mothers. BEWARE of older plastic baby bottles, as they usually contained BPA and are considered hazardous to your child. Â Local animal shelters may also need your donated bottles for hand rearing baby animals.
