Did You Know?
Cutting up your credit cards is an important step in financial freedom, but consider the landfill before doing so. What else can you do with them?
Most credit cards are made from PVC, a vinyl compound that cannot be recycled. Find a creative way to reuse/repurpose them. Consider using old cards to apply Spackle to walls or wood; scrape ice off your windshield; cut them up for guitar picks; remove dried-on spills from pots, pans and countertops. Or, make old credit cards into a piece of art: here is an example of an interesting bracelet, sure to be a unique, one-of-a-kind homemade gift for your favorite recycling enthusiast.
